Plug this super cool SoundRacer gadget to your 12 volt socket mostly the cigarette light socket and watch your car mimic zooming, racing sounds from the stereo. (Please note, this product will not work in hybrid or electric cars) SoundRacer is built to sense and calculate the car engine RPMs. It then matches it with the right sound effects of a sports car.

The new SoundRacer X (Multi-Engine) includes sounds recorded from four amazing cars and two great motorbikes. It has all the sounds of the original V8, V10, V10J and V12 (Shelby Mustang V8, Lamborghini V10, Lexus LFA V10 and Ferrari V12), Porsche 911 GT3, plus an additional two new motorcycle sounds (Harley-Davidson V-Twin and Suzuki GSX) all in the one SoundRacer. What's more, new sounds (up to 500 in total) can be added via the included 1GB MicroSD card. Let your imagination run wild and make your car sound like a steam train, starship, turbine and more! The SoundRacer connects to a car's 12 volt cigarette lighter socket.
SoundRacer has a developed a special technology to sense and calculate the car engine RPM and produce the sounds of a powerful Super Sports Car engine. The sound changes as you drive and SoundRacer even increases the speed of the engine sound so that you can drive at a normal speed and still get a very exciting engine sound.
A built in FM transmitter transfers the sounds on a selectable frequency to the car stereo system.
It also works as a standard Car FM-transmitter for MP3 players, such as iPod and iPhone, with a line in socket that provides an input for playing music on the car stereo. A 3.5 mm stereo cable is supplied.
Packaged in a smart gift box, it's presented on a small chequered flag.
SoundRacer X Multi-Engine sounds are user selectable via a button on the front of the SoundRacer. Sounds are stored on an included 1GB Micro SD card, capable of storing up to 500 sounds in total. A Microsoft Windows program is included on the MicroSD card for creating custom sounds (no Mac support at this time). Only the SoundRacer X includes the USB charger function (1000mA).
