It's going to be hard to run out of ammo with the Spud Gun since it requires only a potato to work! This fun nostalgia toy is making a come back and can provide hours of fun for kids and grown ups alike!
The die cast metal gun in black looks quite realistic, but it's harmless since it shoots a soft potato pellet at low velocity out of the nozzle using a slight build up of air pressure. Practice shooting at the included target or engage an opponent in a battle of the spuds!
To use the Spud Gun just stick the end of the nozzle into a potato. Remove the nozzle and a "pellet" of potato ends up inside the gun. Press the trigger to build up pressure and release the potato pellet.
When the kids (or you) get tired of playing with potato pellets, the Spud Gun also works as a water pistol. Convert it by placing the extra red nozzle over the end and fill it with water for an epic water fight.
The original Spud Gun has been around since the 1920s, but it really caught on after the end of the Second World War, so people with grandkids are probably familiar with it and remember playing with it as kids. As such, it's a great toy to buy for grandchildren so that you can both reminisce and create new memories with today's kids.
